Official note from RBL on the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II
It is with deepest sorrow that the Royal British Legion marks the death of our Sovereign and Patron, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen has served as Patron of the Royal British Legion since 6 February 1952.
We are immensely thankful for Her Majesty’s faithful service, and we join the entire Armed Forces community in mourning the loss of its Commander-in-Chief.
The Queen’s unwavering dedication to the British Armed Forces will be greatly missed. Our sincere condolences are with the Royal Family at this time.

Looking forward to another great summer in the beer garden!
The daffodils are out and so is the sunshine, so we’re looking forward to another lovely spring/summer in the garden and on the terrace in front of the cricket!
The Legion at Grub Street, Limpsfield is so lucky with its gorgeous location, surrounded by National Trust woodland, heath and the golf course.
Perfect for a drink in the sunshine and plenty of room indoors for those very British rainy days!

Fundraising for the funeral of a dear friend
It is with great sadness to share the news that Philip Sims, affectionately known as Bowser, a member and much loved friend of all at the Legion, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday 21st July 2021.

Support Our bid for funding from ‘Your Fund Surrey’
Surrey County Council has launched a new fund – Your Fund – with £100 million to be accessed for local projects and endeavours within Surrey. The club is in dire need of some repairs and improvements and we have some fantastic plans to ensure our future too, so we would love your support to help us with a successful bid to raise money to upgrade and improve our club and ensure we’re around for another 100 years!
