We invite you to join us for Remembrance Sunday on 9th November, as we come together to honour and remember those from Limpsfield and the surrounding area who have served, fought and continue to serve in conflicts around the world.

It’s a day to pause, reflect, and give thanks to those who sacrificed so much for our freedom — past and present. The Legion exists to ensure their bravery and service are never forgotten and your presence helps keep that spirit of remembrance alive within our community.

Here are the details for Limpsfield for Remembrance Sunday, 9 November

• 0945 – St Peter’s Church, Limpsfield – The Oxted Band will lead in to the service which starts at 10am in St Peter’s Church followed by the Act of Remembrance, roll call, wreath laying and two-minute silence at 11am.
• There will also be a service at Limpsfield Royal British Legion on Grub Street at the War Memorial at 11.30am, with a buffet from 12pm.
• The Limpsfield Royal British Legion’s Club house will be open for 10am for those who would like to watch the Remembrance Sunday service on TV.
• Tea and coffee will be available.

The RBL Club has more in store this month too, with live music from “Word of Mouth” on Saturday 29 November (8–11pm).

As we come together to celebrate, please remember that the Royal British Legion isn’t just a great social club — it’s a cornerstone of our local community. By coming along to events, hiring the hall, or simply enjoying a drink at the bar, you’re helping to support the Legion’s vital work with veterans, service families, and those in need.
